Last night I went to one of the most entertaining shows I've been to in a while. We hit up the Music Hall of Williamsburg to see Mates of State & Black Kids. I'm not a huge fan of the Black Kids, but found myself uncontrollably dancing like I could have been an extra in some prom scene in an 80's flick. Seriously- I was Molly Ringwalding it like a pro. You can't help but dance to their music.
Mates of State didn't disappoint. I love their new album and they sound incredible live. and for some reason I LOVE that they are married.
Now, to the awesomeness that is Sunbears! I was completely caught off guard by how much I liked them. Very rarely do I get so psyched about an opening act. So for your listening enjoyment:
